Singapore has been named the world’s smartest city in 2019 by the first edition of the new IMD Smart City Index 2019 which ranks 102 cities worldwide. Right now the 10 smartest cities are, in order of rank: Singapore, Zurich, Oslo, Geneva, Copenhagen, Auckland, Taipei City, Helsinki, Bilbao, and Dusseldorf.
